    Hi,

These receivers are both around the same price now. Anyone who has compared both care to give an opinion. I'd be using primarily for 5.1/2.1 av and not generally music.

    Cheers!

I'm also looking at the differences between the Denon 3808 vs ONYKO 906. My main use is BLU RAY player and HDMI upconvert video to 1080p (from cable source).

I was leaning towards the Denon, but I have a feeling that ONYKO may be better at video processor.

    Any suggestions would be great.

I believe the Onkyo definitely has a better video processor, although I'm mnot sure how much difference it would make played through a tv.

I've heard the Onkyos can run hot which is something of a deal for me as my av "rack" only allows about 1.5cm space in total at the sides if the Onkyo is bought.

I'm also considering the likes of the Yamaha 1900 which is about £799 but has very good reviews.

Anyone compared the Denon and Onkyo? How does sound quality for movies/music compare?

EDIT: I've added the Yamaha 1900 to the title as it is around the same price. Kind of hard to find though....
