Looking for a Denon 3806 reciever in Black. Anyone know where to find one in stock at the cheapest price?

That extended warraanty is a scam, all Denon gear comes with a 2 year warranty as standard. Sound like a grey import from Europe. You may have difficulty getting Denon UK to repair it if you have any problems.

I was also wanting a 3806 but due to Denon's T&C's they cant be sold online, you need to buy it face to face with your local dealer. You can get gray imports as stated but its extremely doubtful Denon would honor a warranty claim, its an expensive bit of gear to have no warranty on, especially if it breaks after the sellers commitment is over.

In the end I bought another receiver as a result and I'm more than happy with it, Denon lost a sale.

Have you tried Sevenoaks? If you negotiate hard you can get some good discounts especially if you pay cash (saving them the CC percentage). They are also starting their winter sale now.

Shouldn't be to bad a trip down the M1 for you. I got my speakers from them and they gave a good service.
