I'm thinking of upgrading my denon 3802 and would appreciate any opinions as to the benefit of the following potential courses of action:

    1. Lexicon DC1/2 or Meridian 565 7.1 fed through the Denon.

    2. Above processors fed through a Rotel 985 or Marantz MM9000.

    3. Denon fed through the power amps above.

I guess basically what I'm asking is, am I going to see much improvement in processing over the Denon and how do the Denon's internal amps compare to the power amps?

    Thanks

    Kenny

Have a look for some astonishing deals on Meridian 561 and even 568.2 now that the G series has been announced. I know there are a lot of dealers that will be taking any serious-ish offers to shift stock before October. Time to buy.

    Cheers Nick.

I'll keep my eye out to see if anything falls within my price range.
