Does anyone know of a source for a plug which will fit the power outlet on the rear of a Denon 3802, in fact I suspect it is the same type used on all the current Denon Receivers/Amplifiers.
Enquiries of local hi-fi stores suggest that plugs are not available as they are not approved by the EU. Here we go again!!!!!!
Thanks in advance for any help

The Denon amps usually have this connector on their own mains lead and use a 3 pin adaptor to fit our sockets.

I just cut this off and replaced it with a 3 pin plug, then connected the 2 pin plug via an inline connector to the cable of my DVD player, which I wanted to switch with the amp.

If you don't want to do this, the plug are standard in mainland Europe, so you could probably obtain them (for an outrageous price).

    Hope this helps.
