I have my TV connected to my Denon 3802 via analogue and the DVD player via digital. The 3802 is set to DPL II Cinema on the TV input and I want it set to DPL II Music for the CD input. However, changing one affects the other -- so when I switch from the TV input to listen to a CD, the CD input is also in DPL II Cinema mode. Changing the CD input to Cinema then changes the TV input to Cinema too. Is this the norm for the 3802 (the manual says it remembers the setting used for each input) or am I missing something..?

The 3802 groups PL2, Dolby, DTS as one mode (eg channel levels, inputs) so when you change from PL2:Music to PL2:Cinema mode it remembers this for all inputs that are set to PL2.

What the manual refers to is it will remember Stereo for one input, 5CH Stereo for another, etc etc
