denon 3801

    i like to connect my DSR to the denon,but on the manual of the DRS it says do not connect the dsr's audio sockets to the phono sockets of your stereo system.where do i connect it ?:mad:

    I had an SDR once but the leg dropped off.

    Perhaps they mean "phono" like in "Phono input", i.e. vinyl players. They have an internal pre-amp and connecting a normal source (like e.g. CD) could kill the speakers.

    Try the AUX (RCA/phono connectors) input but ensure the amps volume knob is set to minimum, then increase the volume slowly and see how it goes.
