Does anyone know if the 3801 does video switching, im looking into getting a projector. This would result in running less cables to the pj.
If not which bugdet amps are there as an alternative.

It does Video Switching but no Video Upconversion.

Not necessarily. For Sky RGB you'd need an RGB to Component Converter then run this to the 3801 along with the Component output of your DVD and then have one Component cable from the 3801 to the PJ.

If you specifically want Video Upconversion then the Denon 3803, 3805 and 2805 all have it. If your Sky box is Sky+ and you had one of these amps you could use it's S-Video output and let the amp upconvert to Component.

The other alternative is just go direct to the PJ with all the sources.
