Just picked up one of these on ebay. Came with a two pin plug and an adaptor which was busted!!! I would normally strip back the cable and attach a normal three pin, BUT it's not for me so i can't be blase!!! Anybody else done this?

Not a problem, just change the plug. I have to do the same for any kit I buy from the UK as I need a 2 pin plug. :)

It sounds like many of the previous models also(I had an 1802 some time ago)which has a 2 pin plug the fits inside a 3pin adaptor plug that clips over it.

You should be able to buy and use a 2 pin adaptor if it is only the adaptor that's broken, and if not remove the moulded 2 pin plug and replace it.
