I bought an unlock disc from dvdcodes.net just over a week ago.
I followed the instructions on the back of the case. Now the denon won't even play R2 discs let alone any other regions. It's completely region locked.

I've e-mailed and phoned dvdcodes.net for help but they never reply.

Anyone ever used them before or are they just fraudsters?

    surrey lad ;)

What about the e-mail I sent.

I know that the responsibility for the player falls with me, but a reply out of courtesy would have been nice.

The player has since been factory reset and is now R2 again.

Denon have also informed me that the only way to hack the player is with a chip.

You are right, Denon weren't telling the truth.

Your response is about 7 months too late.

The player was reset to R2 by sevenoaks in sevenoaks, who recommended I speak to www.multi-region.co.uk.

These people are the dogs n**s when it come to modding and above all customer service.

I bought their upgrade online on a monday morning, within hrs they were on the phone confirming details. That same afternoon their courier turns up to collect the machine.
By tuesday afternoon they are again on the phone for a friendly chat confirming that the upgrade was successful, the player was being tested with a know 'difficult disc' and also that the player would be back with me the following day.

    Wednesday, denon arrives.

Thats what you call service. Thanks www.multi-region.co.uk :smashin: (have a plug on me).
The only contact I've had with you guys is on here, starting October last year and then taking you 7 months to respond. :thumbsdow
