Denon 2930 rubbish!

    Denon 2930 rubbish, lots of picture noise even after playing with lots of settings on my shiny new dvd player and some smearing too, bugger! Then i thought oohh me telly switched of all the gubbings (technical term) on my tv and he presto much better and a much happier bunny.:rolleyes: mmm new toy:clap:

    I agree, sometimes it takes a lot of effort to remove all the unwanted, unnecessary post-processing that displays do to your signal. Just look at colour spaces as an example - with EDID your player gets to see what colour space your display has - but then the default settings screw around with saturation, white balance and the like. I am still, after a couple of months, fiddling with the display settings on my LCD.
