Hi, if anyone could answer this query I'd be really grateful!
I'm intending to purchase a Denon 2910 dvd player and Infocus 5700 DLP projector in the next week or so and want to utilise the HDMI connection from the dvd player. The question I have is this: does the 5700 accept a HDMI cable? I can't fathom it out from the spec sheet for the projector.
A dealer informed me that it could, and also suggested I would be paying price of approx 300 quid for a 6 meter cable- is this true?
The spec sheet for the projector says it has a MI-DA VESA: HDTV RGB, HDTV component, Digital visual interface, computer and USB input (this is all in one socket), Would this do the job or will I need an adaptor?
    Any ideas anyone?

IIRC you need an HDMI to DVi cable for the 5700 6m cable £200 is more like it....

Well..... 200 is better than 300!
Anyone know where the best place to get one of these cables is?
Also- are there differences in the quality of these cables- are there cheaper, but more crappy ones, and more expensive but better picture quality?

    Hello Wiggins

We've supplied a fair few HDMI to DVI and DVI to DVI cables to In focus Projector owners along with the Gefen DVI to M1 adapters you require for the projector.

    See http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=1498

Most Digital cables are available in 5m or 10m - though were currently awaiting our first 8m cables from BetterCables.

Whilst you can spend £300+ on a Digital video cable I think you'll find what you require for under £200.

    Best regards

    Joe
