Denon 2910 HDMI Settings help

Hi All,

Have just hooked up my Pioneer 505XDE to my Denon 2910 and am trying out what the HDMI looks like.

On the Denon, the setting for the HDMI can be changed to Component to RGB to something else, and also the pixel thing can be changed from 480 to 720 to 1100 (or figures in that region!!)

What am I supposed to set it at?

Also, do I select Interlaced or PRogressive for the HDMI output in the setup of the player??

well the 2910 outputs in those numbers into my philips 32pf9986. the 720 sdetting is outputting at 1;1 ratio, but the others strech the picture to fit the screen (apparently - jimsan is much better than me at explaining this!)

hope this helps some - by the way I am using dvi-dvi as my tv is not fitted with hdmi...
