    Dear all

I have recently purchased a 2900 and have a query regarding the analogue outputs.

I have the player connected to my 3802 with four pairs of analogue cables; as follows,
Front (1) left and right into the CD input of the amp. (1 pair)
Front (2) left and right, centre sub etc. into the external in of the amp. (3 pairs)
My question is when playing only a stereo source is there any difference in the signal between listening with the Amp on CD direct mode picking up left and right (1) from the player
OR the Amp being on ext. in picking up left and right (2) from the player.
    :boring:

    Thanks

    Probably not.

The only real way of telling is to listen to both and decide for yourself ?
