    Hi,

What is the best way of connecting these two together?

My Dad is using phono leads at the moment but I was wondering if there is a better way of doing it.

    Thanks

    hi

alternative is coax from dvd to amp and component for visuals :smashin:
that way you are sending dvd output digitally to amp. Depending which has better dac if you use dvd as cd player as well you might want to still use phonos for music to a cd input (i think you can do that)

I have a 2900 and 3802 but have both optical and phonos (6 speaker input) for dvdA and SACD as these arent transmitted through any digital links. I always use the optical for watching films and external in(6 phonos) for music etc

    hope this helps

    Thanks Jim Bob,

I'll try it tomorrow and see if there's any difference.
