Denon 2807 - very odd problem

After 4 years of trouble free use, my Denon 2807 delveloped an odd fault.

Selecting DVD on the AMP produced sound but no picture. Connect the DVD direct to the TV and all is fine - so not a lead, or a DVD issue.

Use the settings and assign the DVD inputs to another selection e.g. VCR1 and it works fine - so not a connector issue on the back.

Use the settings and assing the Xbox to the DVD selector and it works fine - so not the DVD input selector either.

I have renamed the inputs and will have to remember that the kit is asscessed via different buttons - and all is fine again.

But odd fault. Any thoughts?

What exactly are the connections your using? Component, HDMI, optical? That might help us diagnose what's going on.

DVD connected via component for video and coaxial for audio.
Sky HD connected via HDMI and optical
Wii connected via component cable
360 connected via HMI

Hope that helps.
