I have been offered the choice of the very nice looking Sony (not a clue how it sounds) or the Denon 2805? Anyone have any opinions Arguably the Denon has more features but the Sony has enough power to drive a small planet. So what does anyone think im open tio suggestons. Preferably from people who have ahd experiance with both.

I know i keep submitting these threads but i want to get this right as i probably wont be upgrading for a long time.

Cheers for any light that people can shed on this situation!

Before upgrading I tested SONY 5000ES nad DENON 3805 (not 2805, sorry).
    SONY is better looking.
    DENON's remote is attractive.
    Both have good conectivity.
SONY uses s-master apm, digital and it sounds more 'cold' and tech accurate, mening lacks of wormth. It was strange for me for the first time, bass is tigh and clean due to the digital amp. But it not for everyone's taste.
My primary objective is HC, SONY sounds faster and with more punch. I think more dinamic too.
That is why I took SONY 5000ES.
But you will need big and powerful speaker to hear it.
