DENON 2805 Remote

My 2805 stopped recognizing the remote recently, is a hard reset that can be done, has anyone seen such problem. Got a replacement from DENON but still the same. any suggestions, before I start talking to tech support for the receiver .. its a time consuming process ...

Have you tried placing the Denon in a different room to check that you haven't somehow introduced RF interference. Is the old remote still in the room? If so a button may be stuck on which will interfere with all other functions. My ATC amp remote won't work when my Plasma is on and it's a right pain in the a***.

Try programming some TV/DVD functions (so it should control those items directly) into either/both remotea to check it's not both remotes
