    Hi,

Got the upgrade bug yet again. This time to upgrade my Denon 2802 reciever to the 3803.

I want the upgrade for the following resons:

    - 7 channels vs 6
    - variable crossover
    - 100mhz video switching
    - Also more wattage would not hurt (110 vs 90 watts)

My question is, has anyone gone through a similar upgrade path and is it worth the difference ?

Appreciate any thoughts on this, as the upgrade bug is biting too deep.

My own reason for upgrading anything would be to double the benefit of over anything I already have. I want to get the wow factor each time.

If the key features are essential then go for it. It's an amp I'd look at myself. But if I couldn't justify the extra over its junior...

I'd rather buy a stack of CDs/DVDs. You have a cracking system already. Sit back and enjoy it :D

None of your reasons to upgrade would force the credit card from my wallet - audio delay might, but I reckon I'll wait and see for now
