Very good combination but it can be improved by using a different subwoofer, something like the MJ Acoustics.

I have a 2802 and KEF eggs and am happy with the sound.

The only cautionary note I would offer is to make sure they fit in with your decor. They are fairly obvious and they do make a bit of a statement. I have mine wall mounted and they stick out from the wall by quite a way.

Haven't bought them yet. Just trying to get the best price at the moment, but I think it is the combo I want.

Don't think they will be wall mounted though. Probably just get some stands.

Personally I don't like the look of the stands, they are just metal poles. So it looks like a speaker on a stick. Depends how much they cost of course, but I doubt the price will reflect the fact that it's just a silver metal rod with a foot on the bottom :)

Did you compare the the eggs to any other speakers? I plan to compare them to the b&w vm1's and the mission fs2-av's when I get around to it :)

The Missions are the only ones that I want to compare with. I didn't get a chance but I may still try this combo out. These would be a good but if they perform as well as the KEF's. I think I prefer the smaller KEF's in terms of how they would fit in the room.

The helpful chap at Sevenoaks did think the Denon and KEF's were a great combo though.

I have the mission FS2-AV with the Denon 2802 and the combo sounds brilliant after a bit of run-in time.

I think the missions are smaller than the kefs, although I could be wrong. When talking to a dealer you need to remember that they will put the mission fs2-av system down because they make such a small margin on them :)

got mine from ikon AVS for £620 dont let the amateur website put you off they are a great company with the best service, including after sales, I have encounted.

I use mine with a 3802. If you're prepared to splash £1,000 on speakers & amp why not make it £1,100 and get a bloody good amp.

2802 is good but the 3802 has that extra muscle and the ability for 6.1 / 7.1 sources such as DTS ES Discrete.

I just got an extra Egg to make use of this benefit :D
