You should try contacting Hayden Laboratories & asking them what the latest firmware version is & what it incorporates.

Why do you want a firmware update? Is there something currently wrong with your player?

its not my player its my m8s sometimes when he puts a dvd inthe player it turns its self off then back on again

Yes, I'm not sure a firmware fix is what you're looking for.

As suggested, you should contact Hayden Laboratories, their phone number should be listed on http://www.denon.co.uk . Inform them of your Mate's problem.
