I can't record to my Sony Minidisc MDS-JB930 from CD and get the tracks split !! This is bizarre given my old Pioneer 525 (remember them) did this perfectly well.

Now I do not, unlike 100's of other people have an issue over the picture but we do use the player to record CDs and it is a total pain in the ass having to manually split the tracks from a recording.

Has anybody out there tried to record CD to MD using this model of Denon or even the 3800 or new 2900 ?

    All feedback gratefully received..

Sounds like the Arcam DV88 ... the processing in that didn't pass track markers either. Think you're probably out of look ... maybe look at a £100 CD player to go along with your MD.

(I know this didn't answer your question(s) ... but might be good to know the 2800MkII isn't the only DVD player with this "feature")
