Denon 2700 or 3600

Hi there.
Anyone any recommendations for a Denon 3600 over the newer 2700. Not much difference in price. Will be running Monitor Audio Bronze.

3600: Better room EQ with Aydyssey XT32, more headroom, nine channels out of the box, full set of pre-outs.
2700: 8K and HDMI 2.1. Standard room EQ with Audyssey XT, maximum seven channels, no pre-outs.

Better room EQ might be a good thing for me. Room has no carpets or curtains only blinds rug is on the list so might help but quite harsh at the moment.

The more soft furnishings you get the better, certainly heavy curtains.
