I think i am going to get the Denon 2200, I was thinking about the Pioneer 757i, but have opted for the denon. Where is the cheapest place to buy online?

    Cheers

    NO......
If it all goes tits up then you will be sitting there with a knackered machine and the only way to get out of it will be, buying a new one, because no one will want to know.....especially Haydon labs (Denon UK).
If you want a multi region one, then i would advise buying it already MR....but if you dont mind spending more money, then try it yourself and hope it works.

Quite a few people have done there own upgrade's on the 2800,3800,A1,2900, but i have yet to hear of anyone doing there 2200........might be worth pointing out that one person on here did upgrade their 3800 and it went wrong and that was the end of that.

But at the end of the day....You pays your money, you takes your choice (chance).
