Denon 2106 and Arcam A65+

Active Member
I am getting a dedicated stereo amp (A65+) to go with my current AV setup which consists of a Denon 2106, CD73T and some MA speakers.

I understand that the pre-out from 2106 goes into A65+, CDP to A65+, and the front speakers are also connected directly to A65+. Now, my question is that how should I configure the 2106? Can I simply set the volume of A65+ to a fixed position (say 12 o'clock), and then run the auto-setup of 2106 to pick up the rest? Would the av amp detect that the front speakers are now connected via the stereo amp?
