Denon 1930 vs 2900

Which would you go for and why ?....

I've just upgraded(or downgraded??) to the 2900 and due to pick up in a few days....I think that the 2900 has the same processing audio/video as the 1930.... have I made a mistake in choosing the 2900 over the 1930....It makes sense to me that a player which was initially priced at £850 must be better than a player for £250.... can some one with any experience of the 2900 or 1930 or both please convince me I've done the right thing.

The 2900 uses Silicon Image/DVDO Processing and the 1930 uses Faroudja. Personally, for straight playback via the Component Outputs and if you're not interested in scaling via HDMI etc, the 2900 is a corker.

I do not know much about 1930 but I am useing 2930 and with HDMI upscale. I can tell you that I am over satisfied with the quality and image. It is an wonderfull player. Sometimes it make sme wonder if I am watching HD or SD?
