    Hi,
    New, so please be gentle.
Panasonic 32pd50 (with prog scan), Denon 1804, missiom m cube.
I currently own a Pioneer 656a dvd.Component outputs but no prog scan.
No need for hdmi output yet.... However will I benefit from the Denon ie by using its progessive capabilities ?
    Thank you

The review of the 1910 suggested that component was very good but not better than the Pio 575 if I recall.

I would suggest that the 1920 would be about the same.

I suppose you could argue that you'd gain SACD in one box and it would be useful for that as well as DIVX.

But on component alone? I wouldn't bother.

Agree with above, I doubt whether you'll see much tangible benefit...PJ

Thank you, very friendly and knowledgeable advice.
Another technical question. Does the panasonic convert the signal from my non porg scan player into progressive scan, as well as a dedicated source eg Tosh sd350e ?
