I've got a strange problem with my Denon AVR 1912 and it's HDMI signal.

I keep losing the HDMI video signal regardless of the input source. It seems to be triggered by a change in the power useage in the house! E.g. turn a fan on upstairs or a light on downstairs.

Remedy is power on/off either input source, the amp or both.

Anyone got any ideas what this could be!!

    Thanks

    That sounds like interference.

The power change creates noise on the HDMI connection, and it loses sync.

Just to test, try running at a lower resolution, and see if the issues persist.
To remedy, see if the cable is running paralell to any power cables.
If it's a particularly long cable (>5m), consider a shielded cable.
