I just got a Denon DVD-1910 (firmware 1.08) and I can't get it to work with my Sanyo PLV-Z3 (firmware 1.01) via DVI-D to HDMI. It will work on component but I just get a blank screen with the DVI-D to HDMI and I've tried 2 different cables. I've searched through the forums here and it looks like there is a firmware 1.12 for the Denon which I'm hoping will fix this problem? Does anyone have this firmware available or a newer one, because the links in the old threads are expired, or have any other suggestions? Thanks.

I have a denon 1910 working to a Sanyo Z2 over DVI. Admittedly its DVI at both ends but Sanyo has to be set for Non PC feed on DVI input (i.e RGB DVI) and the denon 1910 - i have to press the DVI button on front panel to cycle it to 480/576 to 720 and general leave it on 720P. When DVI activated there is no component signal and vice versa.
Is you component feed still "live"?

I have also noted that in smke scenes/fogg/dark night the image becomes unwatcahbale for a few seconds
