Is £195 inc VAT a good price?

Cool. I'll order it then. £7.99 delivery ain't too bad either.

    Cheers.

I contacted them yesterday. They are not going to sell the silver version on the website, only by telephone order - but they wan't £50 more just for a silver

Is the Denon 1906 silent? No humm or fan sounds? My current amp is silent.

i was told that good amps/receivers won't have fans so it should be totally quiet!

even my uncle's 5000 dollar (US dollar) amp doesn't have fans! (90 pounds, made by Krell, something like capatible of making 1800 watts?)

No humming sound coming from mine and I'm really pleased with it (it replaced an 5 year old Sony STR-DB940 which died). I hope you ordered it while you had the chance because it appears to be £254.28 on Empiredirect now.

Very good amp. Very happy with the perfomance. With the M cubes it makes my living room vibrate. The neighbours are still getting used to it though!
