My denon 1906 one day made a popping sound and then just turned on and off again. It also had a burning smell.
It only turns on for a moment and then turns off.
I think it is in safe mode.
I opened it up and checked the top row of power transistors on seemed to give zero resistance to all tests with mulimeter.
Where can i find a new power transistor it is a sanken d2390, 5n p.
Anybody any ideas tryed ringing sanken they not intrested.
Is there a different brand alternative??
Any help would be appreciated.

Think I have exactly the same problem with my old 1906. :( - It has been switching itself off after a while and flashing red on the power switch for a little while. Now it instantly switches to the flashing red light.

Not sure what to do with it. Is it worth getting it fixed? What kind of cost? Or am I better off getting a 2nd hand receiver?
