    I have ordered the Canton CD1 set and now I need an amp!.

    The usual equipment:

    Panasonic DMRES30V DVD/VCR (Component & Optical)
    Xbox (Component & Optical)
    PC (Optical)

    Directly to Plasma TV:

    PC => TV (VGA)
    Sky Digital (RGB Scart)

    I would very much like to remove my old hi-fi from my room so the amp will be used for Music, Movies and Games.

    I would like the 3 components on the Denon (1 for expandability - Yammy has 2) but I would also like the av sync on the Yammy - but I have been told that av sync is not really an issue (as with Sky it is intermittent?).

    Also, can the Yammy upconvert a SD feed (component) to a hd feed (720p?)

    Which one is better for music?

    Yammy is £300, Denon is £240

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I have purchased the Cambridge Azur 540R instead :D It's height is more suitable to the PV500 stand!

    I've gone for the Yammy 657 now - mainly because of the audio delay feature!
