Unless I'm being really dim, I can't find any way of putting my Denon 1804 into/ out of standby without using the remote.

I've tried all the buttons on the front of the amp, but none will bring it out of standby! Am I missing something?

(This isn't normally a problem, it's just that the other day I put a DVD in the player and then wanted to set the input on the amp - trouble was it was on standby, so I had to hunt round for the remote).

    Cheers,

    Balders.

I've got the same on my 1802. If you physically turn it off, then back on again using the front main power switch it should default to on and thus be out of standby.
