    Hi
Can anyone tell me the difference between the 1706 qnd 1906. Is it worth the extra £50+ ?

Will have Kef 2005, Pio 436 SXE and Sam 950.
    Thanks
    Steve

the 1706 has no preouts, slightly less power + no bi-amping ability.

I bought a 1706 as a stopgap but wish i had gone for the 1906 so i could use the preouts so i would say go for the 1906.

It's always best to get the best AV amplifier/receiver you can, as this governs the ultimate capabilities of the speaker package you purchase, and can even limit the possibilities.
