I want an amp to use with some small speakers (such as Canton CD-1 or MS Avant Premiere Plus).

The Denon 1905 has been recommended. Other than support for 7.1 rather than 6.1 is there any reason why I sould not go for a 1705 and save myself around £50.

Other than the extra channel I can't see much difference but I accept that my knowledge of AV Amps is limited.

    Cheers,

    Nigel

I think this question would be best answered in the Intergrated amp Forum

Just spotted that myself - was looking in the Integrated Amp Forum and wondering where my post had gone.

I'll repost it in the correct forum.
