    I'm starting a new HT for my living hall which is approx 18m (square)= 3.2m * 5.6m
will be using 5.1 ONLY so i guess 1705 is enuff 4 me
    my question are :
    1. with all those models above which 1 suits me.as i'm not sure if getting 2105 or 1905 is worth the extra money coz i'm definitely not planning to set 6.1 or 7.1 Furthermore is it worth to get 1804 (my place still selling them) since there are newer version.
    2. wats the different between wharfedale diamond 9.2 and 9.4 except the floorstanding size in terms of sound quality.
3.following is the speaker i was going to hook up with 1705 is that ok
    2*wharfedale 9.4
    wharfedale 9.cc
    2*wharfedale 9.sr
    wharfedale sw150
4.how much is the total cost for the whole system in USD?
    pls share your opinion

I would go for the best of the denons you can afford as your circumstances may change in the future and then you will not need to upgrade so soon.

The 9.4 are not as well rated as the 9.2 over here. I would suggest a demo first to see if you like the 9.4 over the 9.2. If your definatly going to stick with the 5.1 (for now:D ) I would recommend going for the wharfedale bipolars the dfs18 (reduced over here) dfs20/EVO dfs or the newer diamond 9.dfs as they will be much better with movies than the 9.2 monopoles.
I would also recommend going for the 9.cs if you can fit it in as it has a better responce then the 9.cc. Good sub the sw150 :smashin:

The main problem is that this is predominatly an English site so its hard to give you a $ price

Mate, I have the 1905 and am using the Wharfedale SW150, at the moment just with some crappy Panny satellites and it sounds awesome to me. Am going to add the Diamond 9 bookshelfers, centre and rears as soon as funds allow..........

    Cheers. Lazzer :D

I just went found my local store giving a promotion which includes
    denon 2803
    2* wharfedale diamond 8.4
    wharfedale ???? (cheapskate center)
2* wharfedale ???? (cheapskate surround speaker)
    for USD1160

    Ok for my question
    1. is this package worth buying?
    2. i'm consider to change the speaker to
    wharfedale diamond 8.4,8 center,8.1 and diamond9 sw150
does it match 2803?or any other suggestion?
3.is the 2803 worth the extra bucks compare with 2105?

From some of the fedback I have heard the answer is NO. It looks like they are trying to offload old stock as all the items are out of date.

the reason y i'm intrested in 2803 is becoz it was the only model imported from japan as all the newer model 1905/2105 is assembled from Malaysia (where i lived). So should i get the old 2803 or just get 1905/2105 with diamond 8 series + diamond 9 sw150 ?

Have you paid them already? I'd get 9-series if I were you.. They are warm-sounding, so a warm Marantz could be too much, but it is good for music I've heard. Denon is said to be the opposite, little cold.. (I'd take the Mara.)

You should listen to them, or decide on the features.

P.S. Autosetup I don't appreciate, I've managed without. But Sony is very easy to use.
