Can anyone recommend a retailer in the Inverness area who can demonstrate HDTV on a DLP RPTV? Looking to do a side-by-side comparison with plasmas as well.

Which is why I asked in both forums, since I'm looking to do a comparison between DLP and plasma. Mods, please don't move.
I've got £2500 - £3000 to spend on a 42" - 50" screen, and need to find somewhere that can demo and sell me either a DLP or plasma screen in the Inverness area. Local Comet and Curry's don't seem to have any modern DLP RPTVs in demo, just older CRT DLPs. I need HDTV ready, and none of their displays (even plasmas) stated whether they're HDTV ready. I really want to see plasma and DLP RPTV side-by-side, to compare contrast, brighness, clarity, etc.

Posting title updated to make this clearer

Thanks, I'll see if I can track these names down. The prospect of an 8 hour round trip isn't appealing though. If only Comet or Curry's stocked the more recent DLPs and Plasmas instead of all the old models.

It's been 18 years since I lived in Inverness but "Telly on the Blink" used to have some good stock. No idea whether they are still in business or what they stock nowadays - they were the last shop on the left as you went out of Inverness on the Drumnadrochit road - happy days.......

The currys, comet and John Lewis in aberdeen all stock the samsung DLP tv as well as the most common plasmas and LCDs. The large commet store at the beach would have the largest selection. The samsung DLP sticks out as its distinctive but i'm pretty sure John Lewis also had the new toshiba DLP too. John lewis didnt know when they would be getting in the 500 series viera on Sunday but said they expext it in the next 2 weeks. Shop@Panasonic might have it but i havent been by it recently.

It would be worth giving them a call to see exactly what they have and it might save you an 8 hour trip.
