Quite liking the sound of this. Reviews have piqued my interest.

So many games, so little time, etc, etc....

Bought this, waiting delivery to my local Wal-Mart... retarded that this wasn't stocked in ANY STORES in my area... probably the freakin state. That's one big issue with Vita and its games, most people who have one buy them digitally so they rarely ship out cartridges and then parents won't buy their kids one because they see 10 or 15 games compared to the whole display full of crap games for the DS and about 10 games for the 3DS that are decent and they think "OMG THE 3DS IS BETTER FOR THEM"

It's just depressing because I know it affects sales of the Vita by their poor advertising and support in stores. They should force it down retailers throats and make them carry the games and discount them with sales regularly. There are NEVER sales on Vita games and I haven't seen a new Vita game in my local stores (outside of strictly game stores) in months. They still freakin sell Dungeon Hunter Alliance for full price around here.

We are all awaiting your review with baited breath - hope you enjoy it
Not even sure I'll play it for a while. Still grinding in FFX, lol.

I'm at Mt. Gagazet right after the Calm Lands and farming for Gold Hourglasses, Mega Phoenixes, Lightning Gems, and money so I can buy some gear from O'aka's brother.
So I'm probably not even halfway done but I've probably played it for 50+ hours already, lol.

On the other hand, I've already played FFX before so I could put it on temporary hold and play Demon Gaze and finish that... though knowing me I probably won't ever go back to FFX then. I still have tons of games I want to finish. Like BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, Disgaea 3, Dragon Fantasy 1 and 2 (actually, may delete those, they are fun for a while but the story is severely lacking... I just like the satire RPG style)... and lots more.

I have played this for 10 mins and so far I like its style.

You can pick between 45 different character avatars and 60 different voices but a lot of them are female. It warns you that if you pick a female that it is assumed throughout the game that you are a male human (which there are only a handful of male humans).

It's a dungeon crawler similar to Etyrian Odyssey on 3ds except you don't have to map the stuff out yourself. I'm thinking because there is no second screen cuz that would actually be kind of fun.

So far I'm enjoying it. But yah, it's premature so far... I'll try to play it more throughout the day.

Ok, so played it a little bit more. Interesting battle mechanics.

You have to summon demons you've defeated and captured and use them in game but you can't control their actions. If your demon meter reaches 0 they will begin to attack you. You can round out your party with mercenaries or something like that and you have to rent rooms in the Inn in order for them to fight with you. You can buy furniture for their rooms which will boost their stats.

Although I do kind of wish they wouldn't allow you to pick your own character avatars and classes and stuff... cuz that just means there is less voiceover work throughout the game that there could have been.

K. After maybe 10 hours play I'd say skip it unless you're into true dungeon crawling gameplay. The story is pretty absent. The voice work is scarce. The fighting mechanics are pretty much the same over and over again. I'm still going to play it since I paid full whack for it but overall not impressed. It may get better but I'm not holding out hope.

So I picked up conception II today and plan on trying that out. Should have traded in this game to get the most out of it but opted against it. God knows why.
