DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 4200.S bean to cup machine, silver finish. Used but in excellent condition with original box, no instruction manuals but these are downloadable from DeLonghi's website. Uses beans or can also also use ground coffee (albeit the latter only one measure at a time), has steam/frother wand for cappuccino et al, dials for adjustable serving size and brewing strength. Machine is easy to clean (and compacts grounds into small tablets for disposal or indeed for use in your garden).

Originally retailed at £419.99, stock still available from some retailers at around £235-£300.

Looking for £125 plus delivery (machine is large and weighs 12kg!).

    Price and currency: £125
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
    Payment method: PPG only please
    Location: Gateshead, United Kingdom

At this asking price it’s a steal, I’m considering buying just for the spare parts, diffuser etc

It's about 20 months old. No warranty remaining. It's however built like a tank, has been well looked after and performs immaculately. Photos:

No warranty remaining. Collection would be fine.

It is a steal. I'd go back and up the price in the first post, but there's a Mod watching the thread... :D

I'd say £15 to be on the safe side.

Damn, DeLonghi don’t make it easy with their similar product and model numbers, my statement was based on a different model but none the less I can recommend the brand.

Good luck to the buyer, you’ll be chuffed!

Out of interest, which coffee machine is it that you were initially talking about that you use every morning?

Note that amusingly all Delonghi bean to cup machine use basically the same internal design. The more expensive models just have fancier external packaging (more unnecessary controls and digital displays, more expensive looking case, etc). The manual milk frother on this model is also much better (and easier to keep clean) than the auto milk frothers on the higher end models. This is highly, highly recommended.

Mine has the optional milk jug attachment and that is the weakest point of the machine tbh.

    Anyway we digress.

I have an Eletta model and would not be without it. In addition to making damn good coffee, mind you so it should at nearly £600, makes a great hot chocolate or horlicks. And like rousetafarian I too digress!
