Dell XPS M1530 Webcam Problem

I've just bought the above laptop. Everything works great except for the webcam. All I can get is a black screen when I run the Dell Webcam Center software. The light next to the camera turns on but no picture.

Any suggestions? (I've downloaded the latest driver)

Did you try video recording or photo capture? is there something stuck over the lens its only? the size of a pinhead.

Tried both modes. I've adjusted all the brightness and contrast settings as well to see if they were no problem but there's still nothing.

You could try uninstalling the webcam by right clicking it in device manager and letting windows pick it up again on restart.
