first off do you need 8 gig of ram ? if you do it would probably be cheaper supplying it yourself,secondly ,i,m not a gamer so i dont know how stressfull the games you mentioned are,but the alienware has the better gpu,,i have the xps 15 with the i5 2410 cpu and its perfect for my needs,speakers are fantastic,the 1080p screen is very very good,good build, so really its up to you which one you like ,i would buy the xps,but whichever one you buy ,take a look at dmx dimension for 10% discount codes ,different deals etc ,and use quidco for extra cashback,ive just configured the same spec as above but with 4 gig of ram and using the 10% discount code comes in at £838 delivered for the xps,edit just found this for you through dmx dimension,New XPS 15
