Dell w2600 video v-sync/refresh?

When I watch video from my PC via DVI on my Dell w2600 I get what looks like a v-sync/refresh ripple line across the top half diagonally

Is there a fix for this?

I'm sure i'd read about it on here before but can't find the topic.

anyone help? I get v-syns issues with games on the w2600 display aswell.
