I have a Dell 3300MP Projector and have searched relentlessly for extension cables but with no success. Does anyone know if it is possible to extend the wires as we have a ceiling mount for the Projector and the PC is around 20 metres away. I have searched the Dell website and am concerned that it is not possible for this model?

    Does anyone have any ideas.

Additionally is it possible to split the wires using for example a KVM to allow the projector to be used at two seperate points.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Andy :lease:

According to Infocus, 20m is too long for a regular extension, you need amplifiers to do this. It doesn't have to Dell, any VGA extension system is fine. One example (out of many) is using this amplifier. And yes a KVM can be used so the PJ switches between two PCs, but if the two PCs are also far away then you may need to amplify further! As an alternative to KVM, you can also use matrix switchers .
