    Hey Y'all....

I've somehow uploaded some MP3's or WAV files to my HD5, of some voice recordings from the New York Times that my wife downloaded onto the PC. They're on my HD5, but they don't show up in SonicStage...what the fudge?

So, I basically wanna delete them, there should be a 'delete' on the player! The problem with deleting the file is, it's labeled "NO NAME" track, "NO NAME" artist, "NO NAME" album. W.T.F. Any suggestions?

    : )

Tried using Win Explorer to look for the files manually?

You will have to delete using sonicstage. There is no way of deleting using the player. When you disconnect the device make sure you use the device manager - Safely Remove Hardware icon. Also check the transfer has completed, finally check the files are named in sonicstage before you upload. Cant think of anything else.

I had trouble finding things like this in SS too. They were there, just not where I expected to find them.

I deleted them by connecting my player to SS and deleting from the list of things on the player, not from My Library. Took a bit of scrolling to find them but they were there.

yes, scotty, SS player list is the way to delete them. kind of strange that those files wouldn't sync back to the PC. There were like 300 tiny files like "Player Wins" or "Blackjack"...from the casino software :D ....pretty funny to hear in between songs, so I decided to keep a few of them there...

    thanks all...this forum rokks.
