Deleting Apps

Is there any benefit (and is it possible to) deleting apps you're never going to use? Google Talk or Stocks for example.

Other than to save memory no i dont think there is - are you talking about deleting Core Apps? i.e. not just ones you've downloaded from the market?

Yes was thinking of things like google talk and Stocks, will never use either. I'm a little OCD I think, I just like things to be clean and only see things in a program list I will actually use!

Not sure you can delete these without rooting. I've tried to delete 'Teeter' (stupid marble game that comes with Desire) cos it's taking up 2mb but can't.
