Delete partitions and format HDD

I have a Western Digital HDD 500GB, I initially partitioned it into 4 partitions in different formats to backup two laptops and two Apple Macs.

How do I remove all partitions and start again with a 500GB drive?

I went into Computer Management (I am on Windows 7) and thought I removed the volumes and partitions but I can't have done it right.

Here's what I get before plugging in the HDD (left) and after (right)

Can anyone help to make just one big drive to be used primarily on windows?

Thanks

Right click on the partitions in the diagram for the second disk and delete them rather than using the list above. I'm not very familiar with windows partition manager (I usually use GParted) but once they've all been deleted and the disk is all unallocated you should be able to create a single volume.
