I have just bought a Dell w1900 19" TV from a Manchester Computer shop for £352!!!!!

The screen usually retails for £100-150 more and it has almost every connector/socket imaginable.

It a pretty smart screen and looks very good when hooked up to my laptop.
Normal terrestrial telly isn't bad, but I am waiting to get another Freeview box to try out the scart socket.

The refresh is stated at 25ms but seems faster when using the laptop.

One bad point is that the channel changing through the remote is quite slow (2 secs to respond) but other than that I feel its a bargain.

Heres the link if you want to buy, its on the special page:
    http://www.aria.co.uk/specials.asp

    Good luck :)

If anybody else wants to buy one, get it anywhere but Aria. I've taken those scoundrels to the small claims court and recently won, over a large CRT monitor. Time is running out for them to pay up before I tell the court to send the bailiffs around.

If you have problems with it you'll find that customer service is absolutely non existent, e.g. it's impossible to get any response out of them whatsoever. Avoid at all costs.

No component inputs on the 2001FP :( am looking for something for the kitchen around 19"-20" widescreen for use with Sky Multiroom, and possibly a Momitsu v880n (both these unit will feed another screen in another room).

Also the 2001FP is 16:10 ratio, what would this display like via sky/dvd etc?

    I hate looking for new tvs/displays nowadays, it's a nightmare :)

The 2001FP is a 4:3 ratio screen - maybe you were thinking of the 16:10 ratio 2005FPW?

    Hi Dutch,

Yep, your right. I clicked on the link for the 2001FP which is 4:3 doh!

Same question then but for the 2005FP being 16:10 how would it display DVD's etc, similar situation to 15:9 displays??

    cheers
