Default Regional programs and Sky

I'm sure many of you have this but.......

I am right on the border of two terrestial regions (ITV and BBC). Before Sky I could get both and chose to have London as default so to speak.

Sky (bless em) has my defaults as the other region (South East). Now while I can get BBC London via channel 944 I cant for ITV.

I would prefer London and channels 101, 103 etc. Is there anyway yo can change this?

The regional map was updated a while back and it sounds like you local channels were realigned to suit the new map (Drawn up by the BBC I believe). The BBC have no regional advertising issues so are free to add those channels to the EPG, ITV have reasons to prevent people from choosing their own ITV1 service but you should still be able to add a specific region via ADD Channels, not ideal but an option.

At the time there was some phone numbers given on Backchat (ch999) to call if these regions were wrong, not sure if they are still there.

To get any/all of the ITV regions do the following:

1. select Services on your sky remote.
2. select System Setup
3. select Add Channels
4. Enter the following information based on which ITV region you want (see
list
below)
5. Select Find Channels
6. When found, press the yellow button. You can either store them all, or choose your region.
7. Until the broadcast goes 'live', it wont appear on your normal EPG as
channel 103, so to select ITV1 :
* Choose Services
* Choose Other Channels
* Select the required ITV channel by region name

The Symbol Rate (SR) is 220000 (22K) and the Forward Error Correction (FEC) is 5/6 for all of them.
