Default Apps on gingerbread 2.32 removal

Can anybody shed some light on how to remove some of the default apps on my xperia arc?

Im trying to remove some of these as when i use my task manager there is always a list of applications running which i never use, they must be using some of the phone capabilitys?

Can't comment on the arc but normally you need to root the phone to do this. Apps that come built in are stored on a separate partition on the phone and are write protected.

I decide to go for it, piece of ****! now to transfer what apps i can to sd card and leave phone memory for operating duties"!

You can use something like system app remover which does exactly what it says on the tin. I think es file explorer will also allow you to remove system apps. Search for them both on the market. If you are rooted and are going to install a custom rom you can also remove them in win rar file explorer before you flash it,
