Can I use a dedicated centre speaker as the centre channel in a rear surround 6.1 setup? Going to use two bipolars as rear suroounds with it? Cheers

Don't see why not, only problem I had when I tried one was the mounting of it. Bit awkward trying to wall mount a centre speaker. I certainly didn't have any problems with the way it sounded. Now I'm using a pair of direct radiating speakers which both sound great and are easier to put on the wall.

I use a LCR60 centre speaker as my centre rear.
As Jase said it can be a pain to mount on the wall, but I just got myself a microwave support. Solid (and needs to be with the weight of the LCR60:rolleyes: ) and does not rattle etc. May not be ideal but does the job perfectly.

Yep I have put my LR C6 Eltax rear centre on the wall with some fittings from B&Q! looks ok but the wires down the wall look awful! Have covered the majority with a picture!
