E mailed CD WOW - I just had to let it go.....told 'em I won't be taking up their very generous voucher offer mailed to me to the value of 875 pennies.

It would not be right would it? I am not a Time Out reader.

How do you sleep at night ....much better now!

Found my way upstairs and had a smoke ....somebody spoke and I went into a dream.....I read the news today oh boy.....about a lucky man who made the grade.......Sgt Pepper.

If your for real, then hats off to you. It's rare to see such a thoughtful act occur, when one is not benefiting themselves.

My girlfriend & I live in London, and subscribe to TO. She didnt notice the offer - I did, and applied the day the mag popped through the door. I got my voucher and gave it to her to use on something she wants. I missed out on the mirror one too.

I know this is the wrong thread.. but what a refreshing change from the "I got xtimes vouchers" club.

That really made my evening chap.

    Hello

We are pleased to be sending your £8.75 voucher as advertised in Time Out
which will be sent by separate email shortly.

We would like to reassure you that this was a genuine promotion to readers
of Time Out but as many of you know, it was abused.

Having been swamped with non-genuine applications due to postings on forums
and newsgroups, we experienced a delay in sending your voucher.

We have therefore extended the voucher redemption period by 1 week and so
your £8.75 voucher will expire at midnight on Wednesday 22nd March 2006.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Kind Regards

    Joshua

Think this speaks volumes - this promotion has clearly hurt them financially

Good luck to the company - they are clearly honorable people.

    You puzzle me man

Are you saying you didn't get a voucher and when you complained you got one. Or you got one but refuse to use it.

This thread is making less sense than a noodle & jam sandwich.

I really don't get it at all, you apply for a voucher then decide you don't want it?!?, so instead of offering it upto some of the forum members who missed out, (some of whom actually do subscribe to the mag!) you go on a moral crusade and decide to email CD-WOW to say you don't want yours  :suicide:

Also this shouldn't be here, can a mod move it please.

Yep, 'tis true PW - however, I've experienced an honesty trip - left some groceries(AKA wine) behind in the co op, having paid for them and toddled off home.

Rang the store manager, who said no worries, just bring your receipt in(next week is OK!) and they will 'replace' the item - no questions - he had no idea if anyone had handed in the booze I left, bagged up, on the checkout

How straight is that .....What goes around will come around...makes you think does it not? I can see clearly now.....Instant Karma or what?

I take it this means you wont be participating in the use of discount links and £1-2/$2 vouchers any more.Well done again:smashin: .

Mod Comment:- While the sentiment is noble, this forum is for discussing bargains. Moving to DVD Suppliers & Technology. Marc

Just out of interest, do you buy the Mirror (at least on days where they printed passwords)? And if not have you taken up the £5 voucher offer also mentioned on this forum?
